  1. Artificial intelligence is becoming more powerful every year
  2. As power increases, the options for mis-use get worse (e.g., deep fakes)
  3. There are a range of options for rules about artificial intelligence, but it’s hard to decide what to do
  4. If we know what public will accept, it will be easier to know what rules we should aim for
  5. This project will survey people about what rules they think seem sensible to put on the use of AI
